Baron Ammons is senior pastor and founder of Chattanooga Metropolitan Church and Overcoming Faith Ministries, a family oriented church and ministry that ministers holistically to the needs of families. He is also founder of Diakonos Men’s Ministry; a ministry designed to prepare college-aged young men for family life as husbands and fathers after the completion of their education. Additionally, he is president and owner of Dove, Inc. a marriage counseling and family consultation firm. Pastor Baron, along with his wife Pamela, of over 27 years carries a unique anointing to strengthen and mend marital relationship, as well as, prepares singles for marriage.
He is a voice that God has raised up to declare the blessings and sanctity of marriage to his generation and beyond. His vision is the restoration of today’s family to the biblical model exemplified in the Holy Scriptures.
Baron Ammons is a loving and devoted husband, father, and mentor. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Master's degree from Murray State University, Specialist in Education degree from Tennessee Tech University, and he and his wife, Pamela, are currently pursuing a doctoral degrees. They reside in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with their lovely children Melanie, Candice, Crystal, Brittany, and Baron II.
Pastor Pamela has a powerful anointing to teach and instruct women in the facets of wifeliness and motherhood. A modern day matriarch, as a Proverbs thirty-one wife, she is a shrewd business woman and has an uncanny ability to discern profitable business opportunities. Like her husband, Pamela is an excellent communicator and writer. An educator by training and business leader by passion; in her God has synthesized the academic with the pragmatic to form a woman of purpose. Pastor Pamela received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and her Eds. from Tennessee Technological University.
